My name is Hannah Sanson, I live in Alberta, Canada on Treaty 6 Territory and I created North Haven House in late 2022.

I realized that as an artisan, eager to create and experiment, I was lacking an outlet for my efforts. I needed a place to share the *things* that I made. My projects needed homes and developing a brand that could represent my work became a priority for me.

The name comes from the no longer operational North Haven Dairy Farm that my grandparent's built from the ground up in east central Saskatchewan. My grandmother instilled a very passionate legacy of handicraft in all her children and their children after them, including me. She still lives on the farm at 94 years old.

I hope that as North Haven House grows I can nurture a relationship with the people who support me and develop an understanding for what useful and beautiful goods will enrich my customer's lives - and mine in creating them.
